People talk about how the past was better, especially in music, mostly the 50-90s and I do agree but I also do see that almost all of the geniuses of their time either used drugs or alcohol as a means to intoxicate themselves to forget about their pain and play their suffering souls into music. Yes, geniuses do create some of the best ever but I'd rather have people than geniuses dying out for my egotistical pleasure, although I applaud those that did dedicate their short lives for my utmost pleasure.

Tolle Zusammenstellung. In der Länge und Qualität bisher nicht gesehen. Ich war mit 15 eine Nacht dabei. Pink Floyd, The Nice, Deep Purple mit 15 - man stelle sich das vor. Eine der nachdrücklichlichsten Erfahrungen meines Lebens. Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich damals das Gefühl, so ziemlich der Einzige zu sein, der die ganze Nacht voll konzentriert gelauscht hat - ohne jedes Rauschmittel und ohne eine Minute Schlaf. Ich musste ja auch darauf achten, keinem Ordner aufzufallen... Danke für das Video!

Sensational group interplay. I think this should be compulsory viewing to young sax players to demonstrate it’s not all about showing how good you are at fast runs and screeching altissimo, it’s about finding your own unique way and sound, and boy did Lee do that.
